I was just looking around the RCDB, bringing back some forgotten memories, and of course I visited American Adventure's page. After reading through this new park history page which is actually pretty interesting, I started to look where the rides had been relocated.
The Twin Looper went to a park in Poland
The Missile as we all know went to Pleasurewood Hills
Mini Mine Rush went to Flamingo Land
I can't believe how much smaller the Twin Looper looks in its new location. I always used to think it seemed a fairly big ride, but when you compare it to the size of trees it looks almost a kiddie ride.
I also see that the Missile has got some more up to date Vekoma trains, which although is a good thing, I will miss the old appearance of the Arrow trains. They looked really retro and American which I suppose they should have at American Adventure. If I remember rightly there was a severe accident with the trains on an early morning test run, which involved the train derailing from the Boomerang. It was then closed for a good half year as the trains went to Vekoma to be repaired, so they couldn't have been in a bad condition, as this only occured a few years back.
