Mantis looses trim brake?

Looking on coasterforce, someone appears to have spotted the removal of a trim brake on the first drop on Mantis. Although there is much debate over the reaons for this it is probable that it is just to give the ride some slack or repair the brake.

It is said that the ride is still operating, so it is obviously nothing too major.

I'd like to see them do this to some other rides. Especially Stampida which is capable of operating without trims, as they were added after the fatal accident just after opening. But are they even needed anymore after two sets of new trains with different harnesses?
