Basically, due to poor trade - Charging people £2 just to get in for a start - Southport Pleasureland has closed its doors for the last time...

A sad state of affairs for a poor looking (in my opinion, compared to BPB) but pretty enjoyable theme park.

No I agree with you there luke the park was looking a bit run down in many areas. I will be very sad to see it go however, and I won't be able to keep annoying Oz Boy saying we have an almosy copy of Lethal Wepon

I'm worried whats gonna happen to the Cyclone though. It would just be horrible if they left it there to rot!

The Cyclone was like the nash's little cousin, single car, not half as violent but a very pleasant ride.

He he. Well I suppose a number of factors have determined this.

1. Its in the middle of the park so you can't really show the public what your protesting against.

2. Its not as historic as Cyclone

3. It has been relocated.

I know, even I don't understand why we'd send convicts to the sunniest, warmest part of the world while the law-abiding citizens stay in England
