Because the people putting them together, aren't trained, and they are more likely to get ware and tear, making them less safe.

I wouldn't agree that they're not trained, as fairs have T&S just like theme parks. But yeah the rides are going up and down constantly so they are likely to get worn.

And theme parks, have trained people, to sort the rides out, and fix them etc.

Well considering the manual for Schwarzkopf coasters are in German and many of their rides are over here have 2 pages, I can't say they'll be trained much more than a fairsman

Well, theme parks try their best. And besides, travelling fairs can get away without doing checks.

Travelling fairgrounds DO have inspectors, otherwise they wouldn't be allowed on the road. they also have mechanics for all rides and shows.

There would be no point in avoiding all the checks because the rides are normally owned by one or two people. Accident happens an the 2 people get sued.
