Is this a water coaster or a log flume?

I can't make my mind up if this is a flume or water coaster. I mean it looks like a Log Flume but notice the chain lift. A chain isn't found on ordinary Log Flumes, so does this class as a coaster segment of track?

I'd say that it was a log flume.

Well I know it looks like a Log Flume and pretty much is one, but by coaster definition I'm not sure if it classes as a water coaster too???
coaster mad

Is there part of the track where it is like a coasters track?

I don't actually have any more images of the ride but I'll try and find some.

This isn't the same ride, but this I would say definately classes as a water coaster.

Does it have a seat belt? Does it have a manual lift hill? Is it connected to the track?

In my answer, no.

A log flume is so-called because it represents the flume or riverway the lumberjacks of British Columbia used to transport the logs to wherever they were to be moved to.

On the ride of the same name, you sit in logs - as the top picture says... That ride is a log flume
