I went on holidays to Europe a while ago, and i did 2 parks, Alton Towers in the UK and Europa Park in Germany. Overall, i was impressed with both. I'll go through Alton towers now, and i will do Europa Park later.

After getting lost several times on the way, we eventually arrived there at around, oh 11:30. It's a good thing however that the crowds weren't huge and that we had pre-booked out tickets.

OBLIVION
Oblivion was the first ride of the day, and despite me being a single rider, it probably had the longest que of the day. The ride i must say was very thrilling in my opinion. While yes it was short, i wouldn't of wanted it to have been too much longer, as i think it would take away the sharp thrill that came with the near vertical drop. The tunnel was pretty cool as well, with the mist and all. As was the brake before the drop, however it didn't really have the affect i was expecting, as you couldn't really see the drop very well when you were there.

RITA
Was the second ride of the day, and was pretty good. The launch was very nice, and some of the drops were good as well, but i must say it was surprisingly rough, compared with SE. I thought the themeing could have been worked on a little as well, with the exception of the station and the train, i thought it looked pretty cheap.

CORCKSCREW
It would be a very good ride, if it wasn't rough. Admittedly i was sitting in the back but the headbanging was extreme. The drops were good and it had a surprising amount of airtime. Pretty average.

SPINBALL WHIZZER
A good fun ride, especially since i didn't have to que at all. Not really much else to say about it i guess... just i fun ride. And oh, the que was very well themed.

BEASTIE
My first figure 8 style ride, it was odd. It didn't really get faster until you went after the drop, and it was a little rough as well. I guess i probably should of sat at the back of the ride instead of the front though.

RUNAWAY MINE TRAIN
Like spinball whizzer, this was a fun ride. If you cheered loud enough when you returned to the station after two laps, you got to go around again, which was good. It wasn't anything special though.

NEMISIS
Woah! This ride was absolutely nuts. A new favourite for me. I waited to sit in the front row, which was without doubt worth it, as i only got 1 ride. It was fast, smooth and just insane. Especially some of the inversions, they were just... woah.

AIR
A very tame ride i thought, with the exception of being raised into the flying position, being on your back and the surprisingly fun brakes. If it weren't for the position the trains ere in, this would be very boring. It wasn't really fast, and nothing really happened much.

Well, that about does it. I might post pictures soon, but until then, look out for my Europa Park TR. In all, this park was very good, and while the weather turned on us a bit, it was a great day.
